In addition to the blog posts that I’ve been writing intermittently for the past couple of years, I’ve decided to start keeping records of some of my RPG characters that I’ve had over the years.
This was inspired by a friend’s recent invitation to get back into weekly/biweekly IRL roleplaying games (rather than the intermittent or online games that we’ve all had to deal with since 2020); he wants to run a D&D 2024 Edition game, so in a burst of inspiration, I went through and made character sheets for not only my PC for that game (Guy Fiery) but also the character of Lancelot (from Dave Carter’s song by that name) and three of the four classes from Slay the Spire. (And the only reason I haven’t finished the fourth yet is because the core 2024 rulebook doesn’t have Warforged as a species, so I have to stop and think for a bit.)
So: welcome to a little glimpse into the characters that make me tick. I might even make some pages that throw back to my old-school Angelfire webpage from college, where I did the same thing.
Characters:
- Guy Fiery (2024)
- Lancelot (2024)
Slay the Spire characters I made, to test out the D&D 2024 edition (aka D&D 5.5):
- The Ironclad
- The Silent
- The Defect (coming soon?)
- The Watcher
