SO OKAY GAVILAR. What the fuck. Fuck that guy omg. He’s so insincere. I’m glad the Stormfather lied to him, he deserved it. But…I’m wondering if that actually was NOT the Stormfather.
Some background: I’ve been rereading the other books, but I abandoned my original plan of rereading ALL of them before starting 5. I’m too impatient and I don’t want to get spoiled. (I also did not read any of the preview chapters, haha.)
Oooh also I still don’t like Kelsier. This may just be because I couldn’t get through Mistborn, but still. Ugh. What a jerk.
I started listening to Words of Radiance in the car as well (gonna do my reread concurrently with the Book 5 read), and it’s so interesting that each Prologue starts with the night of Gavilar’s assassination. Seeing Jasnah with Amaram and knowing what I know now is also funny and extra eel-y. I can’t remember…is Liss a Herald? I’ll have to go check Coppermind.
