I read this today and it healed a little something in my soul.
I don’t know that I’ll ever come back to the Catholic Church in full; but I’m glad that I now have at least a chance of returning in all my (both real and imagined) imperfections without being chased away again.
So here’s to the Cafeteria. Here’s to syncretism. Here’s to a vision of the Church that can welcome all into the fold, instead of leaving some of the sheep out in the wilderness.
